Booth Space

The Ponchatoula Country Market Board of Directors oversees the financial and physical needs of the property. Designated managers are available on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday to meet you and give you details of the workings of the Market.  They will give you a complete packet of information concerning the leasing of space in the building.

In general, a booth renter is an individual who holds a city sales tax license and who rents space within the building. Your product should reflect our original plans to offer quality local home-made, hand-made, home-grown, and collectible items.

Besides meeting these requirements, a booth renter is required to work 1 or 2 days for each booth he/she rents. This is important because the booth renter will begin to build a clientele and will also gather important information on the crafting of new items to add to the inventory. The Market is open for business from 10:00-5:00 Monday through Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00-5:00.

Beginning June 1, 2024, contacts for inside booth rental are Dee (Wednesday), Julie (Thursday), and Christine (Sunday). It would be advisable to call in advance to be sure one of the designated people listed are available at the Market on the day you plan to come in. Please be prepared to show us your product(s) that you would like to sell. The Board of Directors will ‘jury’ your items based on quality and category. You will be notified of the status of your application as soon as the Board has completed its’ voting.
